The Noon Mass on Sunday, May 18, features a special commemoration of St. Anne School followed by a walkthrough of the building for graduates and their families. With the school slated to close on June 12, this will be a good opportunity for alumni to come together and reminisce at St. Anne’s. Everyone is welcome to bring any photos or memorabilia they may have from their days as students to the event, which will begin with a Mass at church at 12 noon. The school walk-through, which will immediately follow the Mass, is expected to last until about 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served. All are invited and welcome.
Catholic Charities Appeal supports many programs and ministries to the less fortunate and enables us to share in this work of love. Assistance from this appeal has helped St. Francis Residence, a transitional housing facility for women who were recently released from the Bristol County House of Correction, and to St. Mathieu Residence which offers affordable housing for single women. Nearly 51,000 patient visits were made to the sick and dying in the hospitals in Fall River by the full and part time chaplains. The Office for Persons with Disabilities serves hundreds of individuals with mental, emotional and physical disabilities. These are only a few of the services that are helped by Catholic Charities – there are many more. Please keep in mind that all monies donated to the Appeal are directed solely to Catholic Charities endeavors. They count on your financial aid and we thank you for your generosity to the Appeal.
